Cleanrite-Buildrite Coordinates Holiday Meals for Salvation Army Families

Cleanrite-Buildrite, Northern California’s largest carpet cleaning and disaster restoration contractor, partnered with Save Mart and Radio Chico last Saturday to collect food for Salvation Army families this Holiday season in an event called ‘Stuff the Truck’. Located outside the Save Mart in Chico, California, volunteers from Cleanrite-Buildrite cleaning and restoration teams, Home Depot, UPS Store, 1-800-Board-Up, and the Salvation Army passed out menus that included groceries to assemble holiday meals during this giving time of the year. For this one day charity event, local residents donated food and money which resulted in 115 holiday meals for Salvation Army families in Butte County.

During the holiday season the Salvation Army is known for the “Red Kettle” campaign which assists families with food, clothing, toys, and other necessities. In 1891, the effort to solicit funds to pay for a charity Christmas dinner was the inspiration for the first Salvation Army collection Kettle. The largest Kettle was then established in San Francisco and has now evolved into the oldest annual charitable fundraiser of its kind in the United States providing toys for kids, coats for the homeless, food for the hungry and countless social service programs year-round.

Cleanrite-Buildrite has supported local charity events like these for over fifty years. They serve Northern California communities through immediate responsive services and are proud to be the sponsor of ‘Stuff the Truck’ for the Salvation Army. Just like for natural disasters, Cleanrite-Buildrite responds to the community 365 days a year. Hunger and hardships do not discriminate, and Cleanrite-Buildrite recognizes tremendous community needs across much of this country. ‘Stuff the Truck’ will now be an annual event. To be a part of this worthy cause you can visit the website for more information.

Salvation Army national spokesman Major George Hood said donations from the Red Kettle are down 18 percent from a year ago. This decline is largely blamed on the recession – people have been more reluctant to give when they themselves are in need. Through events such as ‘Stuff the Truck’ it is hoped that the margin of decline of the Red Kettle donations will be relieved.

Cleanrite-Buildrite Securing and Cleaning Tres Hombres in Downtown Chico

Cleanrite-Buildrite Emergency Services along with 14 fire engines from Chico, Oroville, Paradise, and Cal Fire-Butte county arrived at Tres Hombres Tuesday morning to assist in the cleaning, fire and smoke damage, and water mitigation of the historical building consumed by Tuesday’s fire in downtown Chico.

Tuesday morning around 2:40am (December 1st) Chico police officer Rich Harman reported smoke near the building of West First and Broadway which included Mr. Pickles sandwich shop and Tres Hombres mexican restaurant. The fire was reported to be under control around 5:00am but not before destroying the kitchen, office, ceiling, and bathrooms of Tres Hombres as well as the entire interior of Mr. Pickle’s. The basement of Tres Hombres that was used as a prep kitchen and bookkeeping sustained water damage. The bar and dinning room area were untouched by flames but contain smoke and water damage.

The historic building located on Broadway in downtown Chico dates back to 1861 when it was used for John Bidwell’s office that was located on the second level and a general store located on the main level. The long bar located in the restaurant was originally in the movie the Misfits (1961) with Marilyn Monroe and Clark Cable. Currently, the very popular venue, Tres Hombres, has been in the Top Reader’s Pick for Mexican Restaurant in Chico years running. The ‘Long Bar and Grill’ opened in January 1988 and continuously prides themselves in the extended efforts to interact with their customers and employee training on being helpful, friendly, and courteous. Each server is responsible for treating their section as a guest invited into their home for dinner.

Unfortunately fire damage is a large threat for all restaurants based on the environment of potential combustibles in close proximity to hot surfaces and open flames. The most common fires include unattended cooking, overheating, and the ignition of fatty residues within range hood and ducting. Cleanrite-Buildrite is dedicated in educating the public in fire safety for the prevention of tragedies such as this in Tres Hombres.

Cleanrite-Buildrite Hires Bob Battezzato to Increase Community Connection for Emergency Services

Cleanrite-Buildrite, Northern California's premier carpet cleaning and restoration contractor, makes a big move towards greater community involvement in their 50th year by hiring Bob Battezzato as their new Director of Business Development. Battezzato was rumored hired away from ATT Wireless Services for his elite performance as Business Team Manager and for his prior experience at Nextel as Business Manager and Director of their First Responder Program. He is a long-time resident of Chico, is community-oriented, and apparently suits the current growth of the company perfectly.

Disaster preparedness and community involvement have never been more important in the North State. Natural disasters are on the rise worldwide, and in Northern California the weather has a nasty reputation for being fierce and dangerous without warning. Preparing your home for potential disaster is essential for insuring the safety and lives of the ones you love. Cleanrite-Buildrite is responding by utilizing Battezzato's skills in working with communities, municipalities, police, and fire, to make sure that communication, technology, and public precautions are in place for disaster relief. Cleanrite-Buildrite is celebrating it's 50th anniversary this year and is showing the importance of community involvement when it comes to assisting those in need.

Chris Hill, General Manager for Cleanrite-Buildrite's State-wide operations stated, "We're very excited to have Bob join the Cleanrite-Buildrite Team in this period of growth. His capable leadership and energy are just what we need to make our 50th year the best ever."

Branding with ID International Boosts Sales

A recent study by ID International showed that their clients did indeed prosper in 2006 with the implementation of corporate branding strategies. ID International is an international branding agency with bureaus in Chico, California; Milan, Italy; Paris, France; and most recently in Bristol, England. ID International accomplishes all form of creative graphic design and web development for their diverse corporate clients utilizing their slogan “Designing bridges, building brands”, in conjunction with their mantra that corporate branding can only be successful today with a proven “seamless integration” between print and web systems.

An ID International representative reported that following a comprehensive survey of their clients investment/profit ratios, taking into account the return on investment in launching a new corporate or product brand and transitioning disjointed or possibly failing companies into successfully accepted brands, their clients flourished overall in 2006.

One company in particular, Double Pride in Fremont, CA, has now expanded to Albany, CA, and not only made serious impacts in their industry of deaf communication and counseling this past year with the systematic implementation of their branded corporate website and supporting media strategies, but saw a 400% growth across the board in just these four quarters. They were reportedly able to maintain such a growth rate because they also managed growth strategies and management role transitioning with ID International, along with their brand campaigns, to accommodate the predicted success.

Another such company is Cleanrite-Buildrite, now the Northern California's largest Cleaning and Restoration contractor. With their highly visible fleet of vehicles sporting their re-branded logos as well as their new Buildrite division brand, their rampant growth had to be thoughtfully controlled throughout 2006, a sure sign of a successful branding program.

When citing these two success stories in an article published in a local business journal this spring, Design Director Mathew Jacobs stated, "Success for ID clients the best reward we could receive. We're all in it personally for the plain creativity behind it and using art make a corporate statement for our clients in print and web, a statement that they're here to succeed. That's what it's all about. Double Pride and Cleanrite are truly great companies built for success and we wish to support their goals as much as we can."

ID International's website is in both English and Italian and can be seen at www.identity-international.com.
